Media Release: Xtreme Zero Waste

It is with excitement that we announce the upcycling of our name to Xtreme Zero Waste. As we enter into our 15th year of operation we have taken the time to reassess who we are and what we do. Our overall mission statement is to “work together to achieve zero waste”. To have a goal of zero waste makes us unique in the waste industry, and with one of the highest diversion from landfill rates in the country (managing the Raglan Recycle Centre and Refuse Transfer Station), we are proud of our point of difference. We want to reflect this in our name.

As communities around the world look to see what can be done about their growing waste problems, the knowledge and expertise of the team at Xtreme Zero Waste will be invaluable. When these communities start looking for solutions, we want them to know exactly what our goals are, and what we stand for. In line with our zero waste values, the roll out of the name change will be staged, with material only being replaced when needed.
