We were after a quick meal on a Sunday night. Some Raglan cafes close on Sunday nights so the choice is limited. It was awhile since we had been to the Verandah Bar at the Harbourview Hotel, so it was time to return.
As we were after a quick Sunday night meal we spotted the wraps listed at the bottom of the main meals section of the menu. Virginia had the Chicken Wrap with Fries (Mild Southern spiced Chicken with sweet chilli & aioli) for $16.50 and I had the Steak and Bacon Wrap with Fries (Rump Steak and Bacon with BBQ sauce & aioli) for $16.00. Both meals were tasty, true to the description and presented well on the plate. The warps are also available as a burger. For wine we had the Sanctuary Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir at $7 per glass.
The service was good and the meal came promptly. the doors were open and the music from the Sunday Sessions at the YOT Club wafted in the doors.
The Harbourview was moderately and there isn’t any need to book on a normal Sunday night.
Overall on Value for Money I gave the Habourview Hotel’s Verandah Bar a Seven out of Ten for a good meal and excellent service.
The Harbourview is open seven days from Brekfast opeing through to dinner
