Work continues on Raglan Wharf project

Work is continuing on the Raglan Wharf project. WDC advises that contaminated material was excavated and removed offsite. Then excavation was made down to the papa shelf to create a solid footing for the toe of the revetement. Next tonnes of boulders were delivered and placed.

On Monday 20th November, concrete trucks were lined up delivering concrete for the footpaths. Council says that the programme was revised due to consenting delays. The project will complete the major deliverables before it is packed down on 21 December 2023.
