Media Release: Waikato District Council, 18 November 2013

Work will begin this week on a temporary solution to repair the Wainui Road slip, on the Raglan side of Manu Bay, in time for the busy holiday period.
The work is expected to take four weeks and will modify the current temporary one lane into two lane access which will allow the increased traffic to move freely around the bays.
Geotechnical engineers have completed site visits to determine the full scope of the project and with the project marked as high priority, construction on a permanent solution is scheduled to begin in the new year.
Traffic management will remain in place until the full repair is complete.
