The Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to the Karamu track, east of Raglan, on Saturday 25 November, to retrieve a 26-year old female who suffered a suspected head injury, in a fall from a horse while trail-riding.
The woman was stabilised at the scene before being flown to Waikato Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
