In an article in its latest issue, NZ Gardener magazine looks at a question that has apparently puzzled many plant connoisseurs. Headed, “Peter Cave’s Raglan garden is a love letter to plants” the article answers the question, “What’s become of Peter Cave?” after Peter closed his Waikato mail order tree nursery seven years ago and seemingly disappeared.
Well we knew he was here in Raglan and now NZ Gardener has also discovered that. The article describes how Peter had owned land at Raglan for a few years before he closed the nursery. Initially it was a base for his windsurfing. Then he did a bit of “casual planting” which evolved into a garden featuring fragrance. You can read the whole article here.
