WEL Networks, the power lines company that serves Raglan continues its work on improving the power lines network in and around Raglan. Building the new main substation on the corner of Hills Road was just the start of the job for WEL. Now it is busy replacing hardwood poles that were put up in the 1930s with new concrete poles. And we’ve also noticed that many of the under-sized street transformers around Raglan have been replaced with ones more suited to the growing population.
