The next Board meeting is Tuesday 11 September at 3pm in the Town Hall Supper Room. The public forum starts at 2.30pm, giving an opportunity to discuss issues, but you can also email the Community Board members who are:-

    2. Bus – Vaughan Payne, WRC transport manager, has been asked for a third time.

    3. Raglan West bus shelter – meeting in September
 [this design started in 2009!]

    4. Whale Bay sewage design consultant starting August. “expected the works will commence January 2013”. [estimate up from $2.17m to $2,523,540]

    5. Water meter remaining work to be tendered.

    6. Water treatment plant upgrade being designed.

    7. Raglan Office & Library J D Consultants report delayed from July to September [Water & Facilities Agenda shows $300,000 allocated for this]

    8. Road reseals – planned for Bow St, Cliff St, Cornwall Rd, Hills Rd, John St, Karioi Cr, Manu Bay Rd, Marine Pde, Ngarimu Beach Rd, Nihinihi Av, Opotoru Rd, Pokohui Av, Rakaunui St, Robert St, Rose St, Smith St, Stewart St, Te Ahiawa Rd, Te Hutewai Rd, Te Paekaroa Rd, Uenuku Av, Waunui Rd [typing as on agenda – Gilmour St and Point St deleted from LTP list]. No new footpaths this year.

    9. Lighting work to be done on Government Rd and James St [no mention of previous plans for Wi Neera St, Marine Pde and Riria Kereopa Memorial Dr]

    10. Holiday Park plan includes $266,928 for new road, kerb and seal, $430,000 for multipurpose hall and $22,000 for BMX track.

    11. Water fountain to go between Plunket and information board.

    12. CRM reports – 86% dealt with within time limits.

    13. Best Garden competition – RCB asked to approve without any estimate of cost.

    14. Coastal Reserves Committee – minutes 13 Aug and there’s a Supper Room meeting 5.30pm Mon 10 Sep.

    15. Discretionary funding $15,516 – next applications close 12 Oct.
