Water use in Raglan continues to fall

Despite the warm dry weather,DownArrow water usage in Raglan is continuing to fall. Averaging 1944 cu. metres a day in early March, it has now plunged to 1729 cubic metres a day.  In Hamilton City similar careful water use by residents has been rewarded with a relaxation of the restriction from Level 3 down to Level 2.

But no similar reward has been given to Raglan residents where water restrictions remain at Level 3 even though there is plenty of water at Riki Springs, the source of Raglan’s water supply.

With Raglandic folk being so careful with water, there is no need for expensive water meters.
