Warihi Park closed for installation of play equipment

WDC news: Playground replacement

Warihi Park in Raglan’s Wallis Street will be out of action for the next five weeks.
Contractors started work last week to replace a piece of play equipment.
Work is weather dependent, but we hope it will be ready for the kids to use by by mid-September.

Warihi Park has a row of kauri trees and an old oak which gives plenty of shade. There’s one picnic table and plenty of extra space for picnic blankets. There are swings, climbing dome, climbing module, roundabouts, seesaw, slide, and spring rockers.

The park was originally donated by the Wallis family.
