Wainui Reserve – Draft Management Plan Available for Inspection

Waikato District Council has prepared a Draft Reserve Management Plan for Wainui Reserve In Raglan. The management plan will guide the development and management of the reserves over the next ten years.

We would like to hear your views and ideas concerning the draft plan. You are invited under s.41 Reserves Act 1977 to lodge written submissions by 4.00pm Friday 12 August 2011. Your written submission should contain your name, postal address, telephone number and details relating to your submission. Please send suggestions to:

The draft plan and submission form can be viewed on Waikato District Council’s website www.waikatodistrict.govt.nz Copies of the draft Reserve Management Plan will also be available at the following Council Offices and Libraries:
• Waikato District Council’s Ngaruawahia Office at 15 Galileo Street, Ngaruawahia;
• Waikato District Council’s area offices in Huntly, Raglan and Tuakau;
• Waikato District Council Libraries Ngaruawahia, Huntly, Te Kauwhata, Raglan, Meremere and Tuakau.

More Information/Submissions
Council will read and consider all submissions. Please clearly state if you wish to speak to Council in support of your submission. If you do not indicate your wish to speak, Council will assume that you do not wish to present your comments to Council in person. Please note that any submissions made will be available to the public, and that hearings and meetings on the draft management plan will be open to the public. Council will notify submitters of the date and time of the hearing at a later date.
