Universal Unfolding is an exhibition of nature-inspired lantern art by Raglan artist Moira Barber. Well known for exquisite jewellery designs in this exhibition Moira explores natural fibres applied to making lanterns.

With special guest artist Tim Turner interpreting themes of the cyclic rhythms of creation in his jewellery.  And on the floor of the Community Gallery check out installation art with South American desert themes  by artist Karma Barnes.   Karma recently returned to Raglan from Colombia, where with an artist’s residency she worked with natural pigments and materials from a desert that was once an ancient ocean floor full of fossils.   Karma aims to use Raglan natural resources here to create a large installation of the sand and the grass.

Raglan Old School Arts Centre, Stewart Street, Raglan.  Open daily 10am – 2pm until Friday 23rd.
