The Raglan liquor ban starts on 23 Dec 2013

A liquor ban is in place to protect public safety and enjoyment in the Raglan area over the busy summer period.
What this means for YOU
You may:

  • Drink liquor on licensed premises or associated al fresco dining areas
  • Purchase liquor to take home as long as the container remains unopened.

You may not:

  • Consume liquor in public places which fall within the liquor ban area
  • Possess or take liquor into public places which fall within the liquor ban area.

Every person who is convicted of breaking the Liquor Control Bylaw may face a fine of up to $20,000.
