The northern end of Nihinihi Avenue has been closed since 5th February for work on the Nihinihi sewage storage tank project . So far contractors have established on site with a digger and a work hut.
The $289,000 project to install sewage holding tanks is due for completion by the 15th April.
Although the road is closed to cars, pedestrian access is still possible.
