Museum display experts Te Rangi Tinirau and Sam Doyle were in Raglan on Friday to discuss concepts for the displays in the new Raglan Museum. Their meeting with members of the Raglan Museum Society and Ngati Maahanga was organised by the National Services group at Te Papa. The day’s workshop included a visit inside the new Museum to see how possible displays would relate to the available exhibition spaces.
Livingston Builders were busy at work on Friday fitting the final bamboo panels that are being used as the ceiling lining. It is expected that the building will be completed in August allowing the Raglan Information Centre and the Raglan Museum to start setting up work.
