Papahua bridge, lot’s of sun and a clear blue Raglan sky

After an early morning light mist had lifted, Raglanders were greeted with a warm sunny day, no wind and temperatures in the mid teens . Lot’s of people out and about enjoying a coffee in Bow St, then having a walk or a run.

Tree across driveway in Cambrae Rd

Thursday and Friday’s wild weather has completely gone. Although no severe weather warning was issued for Raglan, there was some wind damage including the tree blown down across a driveway in Cambrae Rd as shown in the photo. On Thursday 14th, the bus shelter at the corner of SH 23 and Lorenzen Bay Road was blown off it foundations with the entrance facing the sky. It was repaired by Waikato District Council on the next day. South West of Te Mata, Waimaori Road was closed on Friday 15th at Te Mata end with no vehicle access.
