While a lightning storm passed over Raglan from midnight Saturday for an hour it has now been replaced by a sunny day and the tuis are fluttering around again this morning.

The close time between lightning and thunder indicated that the lightning strikes were right on Raglan.  Lighting tracking stations report over 300 lighting hits over the last 24 hours with many of them in the Tasman Sea west of Raglan. Raglan Weather predicts mainly sunny weather for Sunday.
