Sunday 8 May 2011: Rally New Zealand – Temporary Road Closures for Raglan

Notice is hereby given that the Waikato District Council, for the purpose of allowing Rally New Zealand to hold the 2011 Rally New Zealand, will close the roads for the period set out below. For the period of closure of the road the following provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic, which would otherwise use the road. The road section will be manned at intersections by clearly identifiable marshals equipped with radio communication and access will be provided in the event of an emergency. Emergency services will be available should they be required.

Name of Road(s) Te Hutewai Road from the Refuse Station entrance to Te Mata Road

Whaanga Coast
Time of Closure:: 08.30–16.00hrs
Name of Road(s) Waimaori Road from Te Papatapu to Matawha Road
Matawha Road and Tuturimu Road to Whaanga Road
Whaanga Road from Tuturimu Road to Wainui Road

Raglan Airfield
For use as the Service Carpark
Time of Closure: 09.00–16.00hrs
