The Tu Ora Art exhibition opening saw a large number of people along to support the artists and enjoy the art. Held on Saturday 5th at Raglan’s Old School Arts Centre saw this year’s work by the Te Wananga o Aotearoa students of Toi Paematua Maori Visual Arts Diploma go on display. The diverse art work is of a very high standard with work ranging from a traditional korowai, through fine art to raranga woven with copper wire.
The exhibition entitled, Tu Ora will be open daily from 10am to 4pm until Saturday 12th November. The exhibition includes paintings, clay sculptures, weaving and multimedia works. The large exhibition is in the Community Gallery, Foyer and Theatre Room at the Raglan Old School Arts Centre in Stewart St, Raglan.
