St Patrick comes to Blacksand

Diners enjoy Irish food and music with Blacksand decked out with Irish finery

The Raglan  tradition of the last few years of celebrating St Patrick’s Day at Blacksand Cafe got off to a good start with green eggs and ham for breakfast, then a lunchtime session of Irish songs, and tunes. A huge crowd of diners sampled traditional Irish dishes while enjoying Kara playing the flute and buttonbox accordion, with Dougal on the guitar & banjo and Emily singing.

In the evening “Seanachie” – the traditional Irish Band hosted an evening of song and merrymaking. Thank you Michelle and team for hosting these celebrations.

And further up Bow Street at the Raglan Club, bar staff were wearing green hats.  Kevin Greaves provided some Irish humour and music, before moving onto to 10 Guitars and similar tunes.
