Spring 2020 – time for wallpaper on windows in Raglan

It’s Spring 2020 and like every year it is time for wallpaper on windows as new businesses take over empty retail spaces.

17 Bow St now painted blue

First up was 17 Bow Street on the Wainui Road corner, former home of Blacksands Cafe and for a brief time a Taco shop. Work is underway on the new cafe behind the newspaper. Outside the building has been painted blue. The new cafe has been advertising for a chef and other staff.

Number Nine Bow Street

Just down Bow Street at number nine next to the library, a new shop is installing shop fittings behind the newspaper covered windows.

New retail premises already open are Artists at Work in Electric Avenue where you’ll find Marise Rarere and Jane Galloway. Across Wainui Road, next to the Laundromat at number two is a small gallery available for casual exhibitions.
