Spring 2017 moves around Raglan

Following on from the winter Raglan retail changes,  further moves, openings and closures are underway.

At 28 Bow St, the site of the closed Westpac, work is underway to open the Pirates  Club Pizza shop. A sign on the window says, ‘opening  soon’. Inside there is a conveyor pizza oven. The phone number is 825 8782 or 021 188 4573. Their website says they will be open 7 days from 11am to 9pm, with pizzas starting at $7.99 plus fries, etc.

Further down Bow Street, the  Raglan Social Club has morphed into The Pantry, with new owners Dawn and Victor Macfarlane.

Further down towards the harbour  at 9 Bow Street, where Rip Curl was followed by a surf clothing outlet store, a sales office for the Rangitahi subdivision has opened. The surf clothing outlet store has moved into Volcom Lane where the Surf Emporium was, with the Surf Emporium moving into 3 Wainui Road.

Sadly, Skoot is closing. Vintage is moving to where Skoot was and has a shop for rent sign on the door of the current location.  On a positive note, Justine Quarrel and Keith Jarmey are expanding, moving their Raglan Shuttle & Watersports base from 5a Bankart Street into bigger premises at 7a Main Road.
