Soundsplash named top family-friendly festival 2016 by the NZ Herald

With less than a month before this summer’s much-anticipated Soundsplash Festival kicks off, it’s time to get planning!

Over three days from the 8th until 10th January Soundsplash will be home to four stages – Summer Haze, Outsides Stage, The Ledge and the Roots and Culture stage; boasting a line up of over 70 artists including some of New Zealand’s favourite artists and international stars. The licensed 18+ Valley Bar will also have select DJ’s playing from 2.00pm until midnight.

Gates will open at 9.00am on Friday with JAfA MAfiA officially opening the Roots and Culture stage from 2.00pm.

The evening headline slots over the three days belong to a stunning line up of artists including Three Houses Down, Kinetic, Naram, Sunshine Soundsystem, The Black Seeds, State Of Mind, Third 3ye, Killamanraro, and The Nudge.

However the festival final line-up features many more international and local artists such as Sticky Fingers, State of Mind, Tiki Taane, Deadly Hunta, Trinity Roots, Stickybuds, Herman Saiz, Bobby Alu, Cornerstone Roots, Weird Together, and Anna Coddington, to name a few.

The festival officially ends on Sunday at 3.00pm with The Nudge who will bring their swampy blues tones and magical psychedelic ambience to the Soundsplash crowd. Following the festival there will be an After Party at Yot Club from 5pm to 1am.

The full schedule showing all set times and artists can be found below.

Named by the NZ Herald as the top family-friendly festival this summer, Soundsplash is situated in picturesque Raglan, just 500 metres from Ngarunui beach.
