The slip on Cambrae Road, that started on Friday night is continuing to consume the road. Large chunks of tar seal have slipped down the slope. A telecommunication cable is now visible with a gap appearing between it and the edge of the slip. The lower concrete lane of the road is now partially covered by the slip debris. Cambrae Road is closed to through traffic. Residents are able to access their homes from each end of the road.
Overnight there was 3mm of rain in Raglan. This morning another 6mm has fallen.
