Site work has started for the new medical centre to be built at 9 Wallis Street, Raglan. The first step was removal of the old house – known to many Raglanites as Connie’s house. The home was owned by Raglan bakers, Connie and Tom Stephens for many years. The site is just over 1000 square metres in size and is zoned as Living Zone plus Business with Town Centre overlay.

A spokesperson for West Coast Health Clinic said,

“The work has started and we’re very excited about the project. The building will be 478 m2 and have the capacity for 17 carparks out front. We are currently working on fit out costs and hope to talk to prospective tenants in the near future.”
