Waikato District Council has put aside $210,000 to upgrade the sewer pump station in Raglan’s East Street. Council’s design engineers are working on the drawings now and plan that the existing wet well will be utilised for part of the storage of the new pump. The new pump station will be constructed next to the existing pump station in the reserve area. The target date to complete the design is the end of March. The project is expected to be completed by the end of June.
