On the 26 September, Raglan Ramblers are cruising across the harbour to Te Akau Wharf Road. The walk on the Te Akau side has good views of Raglan, a tranquil creek, a pa site and a couple of waterfalls. Please bring your lunch and $10 boat fare.
Walks usually start 9 am, Wednesdays. With cones and contractor equipment almost blocking off the Wainui Rd car park, this ramble will meet near the corner of James and John streets. There is no membership – the only cost is 10 cents per km to share travel costs. Details from John 825 7866. Check out Raglan Ramblers on Facebook-https://www.facebook.com/RaglanRamblers/ .
Each “Rambler” accepts responsibility for any accident or injury received while travelling, or walking over private property. Be prepared – carry enough food, clothing, first aid kit for emergencies and preferably a mobile phone.
