On the 20th September, Raglan Ramblers will return to the Nikau walk and Kaniwhaniwha cave at the foot of Pirongia. As well as nikau palms, there’s also many other trees and a rushing stream. If the weather’s good we might also go on to look at the tallest kahikatea, further up the valley, so bring lunch. And make sure you bring your torch for the cave.
