Sep 19: New walk for Ramblers up Maungakawa

On the 19th September, Raglan Ramblers will be heading up  Maungakawa near Cambridge. This is a new walk for the group, up the 350 metre Sanatorium Hill. There are good views and plenty of birdlife on this short, well-formed, well-marked track. Please bring your lunch.

Walks usually start 9 am, An 8.45 start (Wednesday 19th Sept.) has been set for this walk , so as to fit in a lake walk at Cambridge as well. With cones and contractor equipment almost blocking off the Wainui Rd car park, this ramble will meet near the corner of James and John streets.
