On the 12th September, Raglan Ramblers will be visiting the  Whatawhata Hill Station which has been a hill-country research station since 1949. Its varied landscapes include limestone crags and bush and good views to Waikato and Pirongia, as well as the lower part of the Divvy. Please bring your lunch.

Walks usually start 9 am, Wednesdays. With cones and contractor equipment almost blocking off the Wainui Rd car park, this ramble will meet near the corner of James and John streets. There is no membership – the only cost is 10 cents per km to share travel costs. Details from John 825 7866. Check out Raglan Ramblers on Facebook-https://www.facebook.com/RaglanRamblers/ .

Each “Rambler” accepts responsibility for any accident or injury received while travelling, or walking over private property. Be prepared – carry enough food, clothing, first aid kit for emergencies and preferably a mobile phone.
