One million of us didn’t vote in the 2014 General Election
“My vote won’t matter”. “Politicians are all the same (untrustworthy, liars – frauds….(cough)”. “The system is broken”. “It’s too hard (who can navigate the policies anyway)”. “I don’t have time”.
“F**k Aotearoa”….No one has ever said “F**k Aotearoa”, we love the country we live in and want to look after it.Politics sets the country’s agenda through leadership, in our social services, our environmental policies (climate change anyone?) and economic direction. It’s cool to want to change the system, but first… we vote on September 23rd.

The day after – we can figure out what changes we want.
Why so backward? Because, NOT voting is a vote for the status quo – or means older voters (who traditionally vote) make the decision for you. You don’t want that do you?
If you’ve read this far AWESOME – we can count you in to come along to our event and hear from the candidates who want YOUR vote… You don’t need them…. they need you. Find out about them, ask questions and then hold them to account to take back the power – <bump fist>
Come and tell……
- National’s Barbara Kuriger
- Labour’s Hilary Humphrey
- Green’s Robert Moore
…what you want their parties to do after the coming election
