WEL Networks is reminding its customers in Raglan and other parts of the Waikato to check their April or May power account to ensure they receive this year’s discount.
Customers receive the discount for each Installation Control Point (ICP) or unique point of connection and to receive it they must have an active connection to the WEL network at 5pm, 31 March 2018.
The discount will show as a credit on your April or May power account, regardless of which retailer you purchase your electricity from. The actual amount of the discount will depend on how much electricity customers have used over the past 12 months so it’s likely to vary between neighbours and addresses. If customers can’t see the discount applied as a credit on their April or May power account they should contact their power retailer in the first instance as soon as possible as requests to review the payments must be received by WEL Networks before Friday 29 June..
