On the 8th February, Raglan Ramblers will cruise across the harbour to Patikirau, so you’ll need to bring your boat fare. Patikirau is the area opposite the Raglan wharf, where the monument to Tuaiwa Ngatipare was erected in 1910 at the top of the 30 million year old, 40 metre high Patikirau Siltstone cliff. You’ll need to bring lunch. The boat fare will probably be about $5.
All walks start 9am Wednesdays from Wainui Rd car park (next to Raglan Fire Station). There is no membership – the only cost is 10 cents per km to share travel costs. Details from John 825 7866. Check out Raglan Ramblers on Facebook
