On Wednesday 4th April, Raglan ramblers will be visiting Plateau Rd.  It is a 15km walk to windfarm and back, including the road cutting on the partly formed road to Waitetuna that was started in 1908, but never completed after the First World War. There’s also wide views to the south (Taranaki if it’s clear) and to the Waitetuna valley.  Make sure you bring your lunch for this one.

All walks start 9am Wednesdays from Wainui Rd car park (next to Raglan Fire Station).  There is no membership – the only cost is 10 cents per km to share travel costs.  Details from John 825 7866.   Check out Raglan Ramblers on Facebook
