After a very dry February with Raglan Weather recording only 2.5 mm of rain for the entire month, the rain in early March is easing the big dry. Parched hills around Whaingaroa received 1.1 mm of rain on Sunday 2nd March. This was followed by 3.1 mm on Monday. The gentle rain kept falling on Tuesday, bringing the total for the month to 10 mm until Wednesday morning. So far in March we have had four times the entire rainfall for February.
We can still do with a bit more!
