Advisory signs around Raglan Harbour can come down
After the 27 May wastewater overflow in Raglan has cleared, all activities including fishing, swimming and collection of shellfish can resume from Friday 3 June [today].
The Ministry of Health has advised Waikato District Council that the advisory signs can come down on Friday and normal activity in Raglan can start again.
“We thank Raglan for their patience over the past week but we’re pleased that the public will be able to use the harbour again in time for the long weekend,” General Manager Service Delivery, Tim Harty says.
