Raglan’s pohutukawas go crimson

Cliff St pohutukawa starting to bloom

What a great time of the year it is when Raglan’s pohutukawas come into bloom with their crimson flowers. This one in Cliff Street near the jetty is always one of the first.

And the sun’s up early at this time of the year with Raglan experiencing its earliest sunrises. Day break is happening just before 6am. Still a few more days to go till the longest day of the year, with the Summer Solstice on December 22nd.
