Raglan’s Phoenix palm trees to be pruned

Phoenix Palms in Bow Street, Raglan Image supplied

Waikato District Council will be carrying out routine maintenance of Raglan’s Phoenix palm trees later this month.

The palm trees, which are a prominent feature along Bow St, require maintenance every few years.

The pruning work has been planned to be carried out between 24-26 June (weather dependant). Trucks with cherry pickers will be used to do the work. They will be parked on the road so traffic management will be in place.

Council apologises for any inconvenience and disruption that this work may cause to the daily traffic flow through Raglan’s town centre.
