With Raglan’s traditional 11am parade cancelled, Raglanites commemorated ANZAC Day five hours earlier than usual at 6am from windows, balconies and roadsides. Tributes were placed in windows and at the roadside. In some streets impromptu gatherings were held on roads with songs, readings and karakia.
Some Raglanites went to the cenotaph in Bow Street and laid wreaths around it.
Has RSA got a page or bank account number where we could donate money to Raglan RSA seeing there was no collection this year. I know how they do great things for the community out of this money. Can you put it up on Raglan pages please
