The Grand Final of It’s in the Bag at the Auckland Town Hall on Monday 11 October!
The regional winners of Maori Television’s hit show It’s in the Bag are heading to Auckland to see who will win the Grand Prize.
Hosts Pio Terei and Stacey Morrison are warming up to play to a capacity crowd in Auckland’s Town Hall on Monday 11 October.
“What a buzz to end this series of It’s in the Bag with some hard case winners from the small towns we’ve played in.” said Pio.
“From Otorohanga winner Bob Strawbridge and his life changing Outward Bound experience to the very sharp Te Pou Mitchell who was our Kawakawa winner we have some real talent heading to town! The winner from Kaeo even threatened to bring his horse!” said Stacey.
There’s lots to play for so we’re going to be in for some nerves, lots of laughs and a few big surprises for the audience too.” said Pio.
The Grand Final will be screened in two half hour episodes completing the second series of It’s in the Bag playing now at 7-pm on Sunday nights.
The winners from each of the series 2 shows from Kaeo, Kawakawa, Kaikohe and Dargaville in the north and from the Waikato towns of Huntly, Raglan, Otorohanga and Te Awamutu will join those from the Bay of Plenty towns of Opotiki, Murupara, Kawerau and Rotorua to play in front of a live audience at the Auckland Town Hall for the series title and those BIG prizes! But they’ll have to be lucky as there will also be some boobies lurking in those kete!
Any one can come and be a part of this family entertainment classic. Tickets to the show can be booked online now at www.itsinthebag.co.nz Entry is by koha/donation and will be donated to The Auckland City Mission just in time for their Christmas campaign.
