Raglan Swimming Club devastated by damage to new pool cover

It’s really devastating that due to kids breaking into the pool complex at the Raglan Area School that there are now large holes and tears in our new pool cover from them jumping on top of it and running over it.

The Club have decided to take the covers off to prevent more damage occurring. The covers were a result of over 12 months of fundraising and grant applications to raise the $10,000.

The cover does an amazing job of keeping the water temperature warm for us all to swim in. Kids swimming at school, our RSC members, community members are now missing out because of the actions of some who think nothing of destroying property!!

PLEASE CLUB MEMBERS….COMMUNITY MEMBERS…KEEP A VIGILANT EYE OUT AROUND THE POOL COMPLEX…… HELP US TO IDENTIFY WHO IS ABUSING OUR POOL FACILITIES

If you happen to know the people who are causing the damage make sure you thank them when the pool you swim in at school is now freezing cold, or you cut your foot on the broken glass they leave around there.

The Club is seeking to engage community support to help protect facilities provided for the Raglan Community.
