Raglan now has a 30 minute helicopter service connecting it with Auckland for surfing flights. Local surfing school Green Wave has teamed up with Auckland based Heletranz with a four-hour package of a helicopter flight and a personal surf-instructor.
The luxurious helicopter sets off from Auckland flying down the coast and on the return trip over the area’s volcanoes. Green Wave Raglan provide an experienced surfing instructor for a private lesson. The adventure costs $1495 per person and is available through to April.
