In previous years, readers of the Waikato Times have consistently voted Raglan as the top destination in the Waikato in the newspaper’s Tempo poll. But this year, the 631 readers who took the poll, gave their vote to Hamilton Gardens, although they did still give Raglan an honourable mention. Still based on the crowds that flock to Raglan, the poll does seem an unlikely result. Perhaps Raglan visitors are too busy enjoying themselves rather than doing a poll.
