Rescue Helicopter news
The Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to Raglan at 1130 today Saturday 30th December, to retrieve a 7 year old Hamilton boy, (accompanied by his mother). He had broken his upper (femur) leg when he fell off his skate board at the local skate park.
Raglan St John Paramedic staff treated him initially and recognised the seriousness of his fracture. They requested the Rescue Helicopter to expedite his transport to Waikato Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
