Raglan Seafoods is well on, with fit out work of the fish processing and sales areas in its new premises in the Raglan Wharf replacement building. Work commenced on the fit out in late September. The building sat empty from its mayoral opening  on August 8th, while Waikato District Council secured tenants. The original building burnt down in 2010 in a disastrous fire. The opening of the $1.9 million rebuild came 2 years and 4 months later.

Owner of Raglan Seafoods, Mark Mathers says that he expects the fit out will be finished in November.  When completed and signed off by the regulatory authorities he is planning on a big opening.
