Raglan Point Boardriders LJ Hooker King of the Single Fin contest was held on Saturday 17th February 2018 at Manu Bay.
The Single Fin event finalists were: 1st Mikey Banks, 2nd Luke Hughes, 3rd Luca Bordignon, 4th Jayden Willoughby, 5th Puarere Kelly, 6th Caleb Cutmore.
The community event was held to celebrate 55 years of the Raglan Point Boardriders Club.
The main categories of the contest were:
- Single Fin Retro with old school boards made before 1985
- Pie Eating contest with pies that are actually pie size (Mince savouries were banned)
Plus:
- Log
- Twin Fin
- Anything goes (most outrageous craft, door, ironing board, inflatable device, chilly bin lid)
And there were spot prize for best dress ups.
