Raglan Museum going up

Council building inspector discusses foundations with Livingston's Foreman

Work on Raglan’s new museum is advancing with most of the reinforcing steel down and some of the underfloor concrete beams already in place.  On Friday 25th,  WDC Building Inspector, Nic Koning  was inspecting the work prior to the foundations being completed.
Latest information from WDC Facilities GM, Richard Bax is that the building will be completed by August 2011 and then handed over to the Raglan & District Museum and to the Raglan Information Centre.  These organisations will then require a period of time to fit out the building prior to the official opening.
