The Raglan 23 website poll over the winter recorded strong support for night opening of the Raglan Library. So we asked Waikato District Council about when the library would be starting to open at night.
We understand night opening of Raglan Library has been included in the Long Term Plan. Would you please advise when late night opening will commence at the Raglan Library?
A Council spokesperson said, “Raglan Library will be the first of our libraries to open with late nights. While we don’t have a set date confirmed yet, we are expecting to begin the extended hours in the last week of September.”
The Raglan 23 poll showed that over two-thirds (68%) of people polled, would use the Raglan Library if opened at night. So there is strong support for the library to open at night.
