The Waikato District Council has published a Notice of Hearing for the application by Tasman Lands Ltd for an industrial subdivision a few kilometres east of Raglan on State Highway 23. In the new town plan proposed for Raglan this land is designated for industrial use. WDC has appointed an independent chair for the hearing as it supports the subdivision.

Notice is hereby given that a Hearing by a Commissioner, appointed by Waikato District Council, will be held in Committee Rooms 1 & 2, Waikato District Council Office, 15 Galileo Street, Ngaruawahia on WEDNESDAY 21 JULY 2010 commencing at 9.00am and continuing on subsequent days as necessary to complete the Hearing.

The purpose of the Hearing is to hear and decide on a Resource Consent application made by Tasman Lands for Land Use and Subdivision Consent for a Business Park and Rural Residential Development.

Note: In the event that the business of any Committee is not concluded on the advertised dates, the meeting may be continued on a later date scheduled by the Commissioners prior to adjournment.

This notice is given under section 46 of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987.
