Raglan home wins award – now on track to national awards

A Raglan home has won a regional architecture awards for designers from the lower North Island and will be put up for a national honour.  Gisborne based Pacific Modern Architecture won an award for the design of a home overlooking the Raglan Harbour, designed by architect Chris Shaw.

The regional winners of Architectural Designers New Zealand-Resene Design Awards were announced at a dinner at the Southward Car Museum near Paraparaumu last Friday with a  judging panel including Wellington architect Ian Athfield.  The award dinner was one of six regional events to be held this month.

The winners’ entries will go on to compete at the national awards in Nelson in October.
